BOARD MEMBER OF OUTDOOR LAB FOUNDATION

  • Network and build professional community to increase Foundation’s profile through either in-person or social networking.


  • Coordinate with board members and staff on strategies to improve donor and stakeholder relationships.


  • Monitor organizational success toward the goals and objectives identified in the Foundation’s Strategic Plan.


  • Approve annual budget and review monthly financials to ensure budget numbers are on track.

  • Contribute to a statewide initiative through EOC aimed at removing barriers to outdoor access and promoting environmental equity.

  • Active member of the Sponsorship & Auction committee for The Junior League of Denver 


  • Engaged in a comprehensive training program to develop leadership skills, expand knowledge in nonprofit management, and learn about the League’s mission and impact on the Denver community.

  • Administer and distribute resources to the Site Leaders of the service trips throughout the year with implementing education of the social issue in their pre-trip meetings, reflections, and post-trip events.


  • Lead bi-weekly meetings with training sessions on pre-trip prep, meaningful reflection, and educational resources.

  • Develop service trip itinerary by communicating with community organizations.


  • Prepare and organize pre-departure meetings, daily activities and reflections to maximize learning experiences for the participants.


  • Collaborate with organizations during the service trip to facilitate service-learning activities and ensure safe, learning environment.


  • Co-lead a week-long trip to Georgia with 10 students focusing on elders with disabilities with a need for accessibility.


  • Solely led a trip to Orlando with 10 students volunteering with LGBTQ+ youth at a weekend retreat.

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT AT NOVA SOUTHEASTERN

  • Plan monthly Days of Service coordinating logistics for the program which includes managing registration for 30-50 students, serving as a liaison for the venues, and collaborating with local non profits organizations.


  • Support professional staff and graduate assistants with planning and executing Student Leadership & Civic Engagement (SLCE) events on campus.


  • Collaboration with co-workers to create visual posters on Canva or Instagram posts to share local service events to NSU student body.


  • Provide operational support ranging from answering student questions, setting up and breaking down events, and assisting with special projects from the SLCE staff.

Assisted in construction of homes for 

migrant workers in Immokalee, FL.
